This was a very fun layout to create. I used a variety of embellishments to create the look. Buttons were a main component of this layout because of the variety of shapes sizes and colors they come in. They are also very cheap compared to other scrapbooking embellishments. I tried to repeat colors in the 3 main button corners to create a uniform look and draw your eye to the center. Please share any comments, thoughts or questions you have below!

5 Tips on Getting the most from your Letter Stickers

Image
Letter stickers can quickly become useless if you do not use a little creativity. It is easy to run out or of or low on vowels and wonder if you should just throw the rest of the stickers away but here are a few tips that will allow you to get more use from those stickers. 1. Mix and Match A great solution for when you are running low on one type of letters is to combine it with one or several other letter types. This creates a whimsical look and allows extra use from that sticker sheet. 2.Abbreviate Another great way to use left over letter stickers is to abbreviate. Instead of spelling out the entire word just use the main letters. Readers will be able to understand what you are conveying because it is either a common abbreviation or because it is clear from the other content on the page. For example instead of spelling out Atlanta you can abbreviate it to ATL. In the photo DB is used as an abbreviation for Donut Bar.  3. Use as Embellishments Letter sticke

10 Scrapbooking Organization Tips

Scrapbooking products and supplies can become cluttered very easily, making it difficult to get the most out of your supplies and find things quickly. Here is a list of ways I keep my scrapbooking supplies in check! 1.Scrap Paper Bin After creating a few pages left over scraps of paper begin to pile up. I keep my scrap paper in a plastic bin. It can be easily stored away and keeps those pesky scraps in one place until you suddenly need that left over pink flower paper. To further organize your bin stack the papers in coordinating colors with the largest on the bottom to the smallest on top. 2. Page Protector Storage Storing those cute strips of paper found at the top of 12x12 papers can become messy. They are easily bent and fall to the bottom of the Scrap Paper Bin. Storing them in a page protector prevents them from bending and allows you to see what you have in your stash. This page protector can be stored in the top of your Scrap Paper Bin until they
